Products used

STEINEL’s True Presence® COM 2 sensor
STEINEL’s True Presence® COM 2 sensor was placed in the hotel room to detect true presence or absence of guest, regardless of the activity ie sleeping, reading, resting, etc. Unnoticed by the hotel guests, the air conditioning in the unoccupied hotel rooms is lowered by 2°C. This reduction of energy consumption resulted in energy saving of 12%. True Presence® BT IPD was also installed in the toilet area to ensure full coverage of the entire hotel room. STEINEL’s True Presence® requires a minimal stay-ON time while saving the maximum amount of energy and costs.
